IndividualTeamCustomer

The problem

In 20+ years across industries and countries, I've seen what happens when:

  1. The team serving the customer is an afterthought

We don't have to pick a side between our people and our customers. We need a way to move along that line.

  2. Incentives copied from what worked for others

We expect someone else's success story to repeat itself in our company, and skip understanding what works in our own reality.

  3. Strong teams that don't talk to each other

We help each team do its best work, but miss the system that connects those efforts so they add up for the customer.

Where it comes from

Over almost a decade in operations leadership, in fulfillment, food tech and SaaS, I learned from those patterns and adapted how I lead. In the last four years, as Director of Operations and then COO, I put this approach into practice, alongside OKRs, KPI governance and EOS.

What it delivered

People

  • Alignment where there had been little clarity
  • Change the team understood and supported before it happened
  • Clear roles and decision rights, built on an accountability structure and an OKR system
  • Open, honest communication, inside the company and out

Process

  • Results that once depended on heroics or luck, now delivered through planned work
  • A long-standing product backlog cleared through a defined plan
  • More capacity without burning people out

Customer

  • Better customer communication and stronger relationships
  • Customers getting answers within the committed time

Growth

  • An organization designed to support growth

Let's see if this fits.
