It feels like winning

It feels like winning when you stop selling to and start growing with your customers.

It also feels like winning when collaboration happens by initiative and not by request.

And when you stop deciding for and start creating with the individuals in your organization? That also feels like winning.

When a customer tells you that the work your team delivers changed the perspective of how companies in your field work, you know something real happened:

  • They saw how important it was for your team to support their goals.
  • They noticed the right people were involved.
  • They noticed the talent put to deliver. Every meeting, every follow up call, your team showed up intentionally prepared and ready to receive and give feedback.
  • They followed up post-delivery to ensure things worked as expected and owned the fixes if needed.

You then have all of your customer's attention and support to talk about the future and help them shape what it looks like.

And when that happens, they don't just stay. They bring others with the conviction that you won't let them down.

I've experienced moments like this.

Working alongside people until their results build momentum. Keep the current flowing.

Building teams that reach a level of communication and cadence, internally and externally, that you could tell my presence was less and less needed.

The work that matters gets done. You facilitate the understanding around what everyone owns. Then, as results compound, course-correction happens when needed. So does accountability.

Perfection is not the goal. It's moving forward together, with the right results in mind. That's how we all win.

Perfection is not the goal. It's moving forward together, with the right results in mind.

The process is not that easy, but it's worth it. I call it the Success Cascade. If you'd like to explore this further, or know someone who might benefit, I'd like to hear from you.

After all, your fingerprint built along 40, 50 years of professional career comes with the potential to leave something that makes a difference.

Let's see if this fits.
